Word of the Day

I thought it necessary to make the word of the day party.

Party- a social gathering, as of invited guests at a privat home, for conversation, refreshments, entertainment, etc.

Party Pooper- one who hasn't the interest or vitality to participate actively in a social party and thereby lessens other's enjoyment (AKA: Mr. Ruger)

Hope everyone has a GREAT BREAK!

On terror

Long ago, they were the passion of many young children. They were loved, played with, taught how to swear.
But slowly, they were shelved, abandoned, lost.
And they're angry.

They've gone feral.

Beware of Furbies.

What comes before part b?

What comes before part B?
PART-AY....
TECH AIDE PARTY TOMORROW!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Holidays

Word of the Day

Whistle- to make a clear musical sound, a series of such sounds, or a high-pitched, warbling sound by the forcible expulsion of the breath through a small opening formed by contracting the lips, or through the teeth, with the aid of the tongue

Warble- to produce a continuous sound varying regularly in pitch and frequency (it can also mean a tumor on a horse's back, in case anyone wanted to know

**John seems to think that this is wrong because some people can whistle by breathing in, not out. If anyone else agree's, please contact Webster. Maybe he will change it for you.

On Non-Trditional Future Plans

I want to make my living with things that cannot be mastered nor figured out.

I want to learn glass blowing, gun making, smithing, any sort of material manipulation you can imagine. I want a simple, self sustaining life in the middle of nowhere, where no one can complain about the noise. I want a green house, run on alternative energy. I want a workshop with beads and bones and bayonets. I want a small island in a fish pond on which to eat my lunch. I want a dachshund and a great dane. That's a beautiful contrast.

I want to transfer the ideas I have for things directly into reality. I don't want to have to deal with the hoops involved in engineering or similar crapola that would involve the (further) crushing of my soul.

The most intricate things that you can imagine are made brutishly, with hammers and fire and chisels. It's stunning. There will always be respect for it. There will always be a market for it. It does not change. It does not really require the use of my jerk of a brain, at least not in the sense that people expect me to use it.

Crafting things is a skill.
I will never be an artist, but I want to be an artisan.

I will never get the things I want. I will never be truly happy.

And you can blame people like Mr. Briggs for that.

I want to learn things. I don't want to be educated.

I will be forced into what the world expects of me. I will not be allowed to have the things that I want.

It takes too much energy to fight.

That breaks my heart.

I'm selfish, I guess.

Go Klunder!

Thank you for keeping up with this blog. I love the Word of the Day and the creative sentences you come up with.

I also want to thank you for replying to everyone.

The rest of you GET ON THE STICK. This is a test blog that we hope will lead to something much bigger!

Blogging in General

So, does this blog thing make sense? Is there any point to it? Does it have any value? Or is blogging just a waste of time?

What do you think?

Word of the Day

I was working very diligently on the athletic website today and I am very sorry to announce that their is no word of the day. I thought I would let everyone know instead of not posting anything like a certain someone involoving a quote. Happy Holidays!

Love is but the dust in an old man's cuff as he taps his cane to a tune.

Word of the Day

Hellkite- a friendishly cruel and wicked person

May none of you be a hellkite this christmas. Happy holidays!

On Friendship

The unfortunate side effect of having higher mental faculties is the fact that pain is no longer only physical. If pain was still purely physical, mankind would only require physical remedies to relieve pain. However, since there is another level of pain that man (woman included) feels, necessity dictates that there is another level of pain relief.

What is the other level of pain relief? Friendship. Why friendship? Because friendship is a wonder drug that includes sympathy, empathy, understanding, affection, trust, and so many other wonderful qualities.

The utilitarian philosophy maintains that the goal of man in any action should be to minimize pain and maximize pleasure. While a person feels sympathy and empathy for another person, they absorb some of the ill person’s pain. This does not immediately minimize the amount of pain, but by absorbing some of the pain and therefore further understanding how the ill person feels, one can better console the ill person and possibly relieve some of the their pain.

C.S. Lewis says that friendship is not necessary for survival, but it adds value to survival. What is something without value? Meaningless. What is life without friendship?

On illness and pain

So, I'm going to the doctor today.

A month and three days after I finally broke down and admitted to myself that something was wrong with me.

My, the medical system is riddled with inefficiencies. I've grown worse in that time. And angrier.

My mind is starting to work more sluggishly. I'm having a difficult time finding the words I need, they're not stored right. It just took me three minutes to figure out how to spell inefficiencies, that's not how I function. I'm better than that. Now I get panic attacks every time that I can feel a headache coming. Everything I eat makes me nauseous. My eyes burn. My heart pumps funny. I've been getting ill more often. I hope to God that these aren't related. And I'm dead scared of going to the doctor tonight.

Are you happy now, you touchy feely bunch of saps, always wanting to know how I feel? I don't communicate because it's better for us both if I don't. How I feel is scary.

No more questions.

Stop caring.

Word of the Day

Some of you may know the word of the day, but I felt it was necessary for the holiday season.

Lavish-giving in great amounts

Greetings and Salutations

This post is commemorating the first post by me. It has been a long trip to get where I am now, it took my 5 long minutes to edit my profile to my liking, and then 10 seconds to load this page. After such a long wait I thought it appropiate to commemorate such a great event.

I look forward to many great discussions in the coming weeks and months.
